This is a wonderful Passport America park, and that price is excellent for the amenities available, especially. It is very easy to access from the highway, check-in runs like a well-oiled machine. The showers are clean with amazing water pressure and perfect temp, and the laundry is very reasonably priced. The park itself is quiet; however, it is close to the highway, so road noise is very noticeable. Location is very good...easy to get to Keystone, the monuments, and Custer State Park. We are thankful Rapid City is close by, as our traveling companion had to spend quality time at Urgent Care and the ER. We definitely will recommend Heartland to others and will gladly stay here again.

Nice convenient area, clean full hookups, cable, electric water kids play area. Restaurant, and activitie area with nightly activities like bingo, movies and more. Public showers, bathroom, laundry and a little store. Except for it being close to the highway it's quite, and safe. It does have cabins for rent (i did not use, so I can't tell you much about that) not far from Mt Rushmore, Chief Joseph and more. Prices per night is reasonable. Highly recommend

We stayed 3 nights. Lots of RV spots available - graveled and generally level with well-maintained greenspace including picnic table and firepit for each trailer. A large dog run at the north end of the property, a community center with a variety of events throughout the week. We enjoyed breakfast one morning and wine tasting one evening. Easy access to Mt. Rushmore and other South Dakota activities.
