The place is really nice, well maintained with a very friendly staff.. My only disappointment was that they don't lower their prices for the off season especially when many of their amenities aren't available.. Other than that it's a great campground..
We camped here in our Super C. Plenty of room for it and our tow vehicle on the site. All staff we interact with were very nice. It’s a great base to go from for touring all the sites in the area. We’ll stay there again.
Great location for accessing all towns of interest in South Dakota. Clean, spacious and staff friendly campground. Second time we've stayed, will probably return again.
Those who run and work at this campground are just the best. Friendly and will bend over backward to help you whenever needed. We love to stay just to rest and relax.
We had our own camper but our space was near the main highway. A constant loud 18 wheeler and other truck noise was terrible for enjoying outside meals and trying to hear each other. Ck in service was great as well as breakfast. They sent texts of various activities. Ask for a space clear in the BACK!
Had an amazing time! The staff was very friendly and helpful! The location was perfect for our needs, and the sites were just the right size!
Our TV was not compatible with the park's cable system.
Great place to park our rv. Clean, organized and friendly staff. Great store for supplies also.
The cabin was a perfect base camp for our adventures around the Hills- especially for the price. We will definitely be recommending it to others!
The employees are so nice and very helpful. Every thing is clean and very nice!!
Can't say enough about this place. Will use again traveling. Great location .
Wonderful staff, beautiful park, easy in/out highway. Wish the event center had been open, that would have put this over the top awesome. Very clean & well maintained. Nice and quiet at night. Easy pull-thru sites, although ours was just a bit out of level. This park is going on our favorites list. We will return for a longer stay!
Really liked this park. People were friendly and professional. Park was well maintained & had pretty much everything you need on site. Laundry, showers & bathrooms were immaculate. Spacing between sites would have been nice if they were a little farther apart. They were plenty long though. Most were 70' or more & pull-thru. Nice playground on the premises & a pool (although they closed it while we were there).
Only negative was the highway noise which was a real downer. Even with earplugs traffic
noise & nearby trains interrupted our sleep.
Maybe some additional plantings of shrubbery out by the highway would help

The campground itself is very nice. Would of been nice to know when I called and booked my stay that several of the amenities were closed for the season. We couldn't even get in to play pickelball, gates were locked up. Doesn't say anything on the website either. It is close to the parks we wanted to go to, not really any kind of restaurants around without driving 30 minutes.
Was convenient to all the National Parks we wanted to see! Gas stations close by also. Staff very helpful, grounds very clean and restrooms. My husband said the shower was a little small for him and I noticed this morning they weren’t clean but have been good for the last 3 days. Would recommend to any RV customer! Had a little trouble with the cable not working at our site most days.
Central location to many activities, very friendly and helpful staff. Clean facilities and generous size rv spaces. A little more shade trees would be great! Overall we enjoyed our stay.
We enjoyed staying at the campground for the summer. It is convenient to Rapid City, Mt Rushmore, Custer State Park and everything that we wanted to explore in the area. The staff was Great! The grounds were clean and well taken care of. The restrooms and laundry rooms were clean. Also, the Breakfast and Dinner were Great at the event center.
We had a Great Summer!

Had a great stay. Quite a hike to destinations but worth every penny!! Super clean and everyone was extremely helpful
Location, location, location!
We stopped here for 2 weeks to explore the National Parks in SD.
First, the rv park. Be on the email or text message thread. They keep you up to date on all activities and hours of operation. We had a 47 ft rig. Plenty of room in our pull thru site. The pool and hot tub were warm in September! Laundry is in 3 different buildings, cost $3.50 a load. There is a playground and dog run. There is a small gym. Food is served for breakfast and dinner. The store does have alcohol and wood!
My recommendation for the park is just having the rec center open for public use. Like gathering area to play games, without coming during the food hours and eating.
