We had a wonderful 5 night stay at Heartland. This is our 4th time we have stayed. A wonderful clean and organized park. They are centrally located and close to all the attractions.
An added feature is the breakfast that is served every morning for a nominal fee. They also have great entertainment Friday and Saturday night with food and a full bar. There are also plenty of other activities. They have also added a pickelball court.
The staff is phenomenal and there to serve your every need! I highly recommend Heartland for your Black Hills visit!

Calling and getting reservations was easy and they were very helpful, knowledgeable, and nice. Everything was ready when checking in, and staff was there to take you right to rv space. The park, restrooms, and showers were very clean and easily accessible. Music/ Games were scheduled for everyone at the event center every night. Breakfast and dinner available to order for all guest daily. Food was good. Park was centrally located to all the sites, and made day trips easy. All of the staff could not have been nicer. Would definitely stay again and would recommend it for everyone going to that part of SD.

Conveniently located close to all of the main attractions in the area. Sites are level, gravel pads, no shade, and sparse grass in between. Easy in and out off of a main road.
Hunts Brothers kitchen setup for breakfast and dinner which was a nice option.
I would give 5 stars but there is no pavement at all, just crushed limestone/gravel everywhere. It is quite dusty with the cars driving by. We did see someone watering the road once. But with the constant sun baking that didn't help for long.
Keep in mind that you are there for the convenience of the location and proximity to the majority of the local attractions, not the amenities of the park.

We stayed at Heartland for 10 days and were received with open arms. We arrived and a gentleman guided through the procedures to check in and they showed us to our site. They provided us will the area must see attractions and was very helpful. The only thing they don’t provide is detailing services because of the type of ground they have. But the rain came and took care of the problem. They also service breakfast & dinner at a cost and entertainment in certain days. You won’t be disappointed staying here.

Spent a week in a RV here. All facilities appear to be well maintained and very clean. The restaurant’s food was good and convenient for a meal. The RV space itself was a gravel surface and not level so make sure you have items to level your RV.
